Ukrainian dance classes are offered by Zabutnyy Dance Company to everyone in
and around Regina. No previous experience is required. All classes are closed. Parents are invited to attend watching week to
see how the classes are progressing. The following list is what we
recommend for dancers attending classes.
Beginner 1
This class is designed for children 3 to 5 years of age.
It is an entry level class instructed by Liana Zabutnyy.

Intermediates
The Intermediate class is an advancing class, with dancers
ranging in age from 10 to 12 years. The class is offered two nights a
week. Serhiy & Liana rotate teaching this class to ensure the dancers are
exposed to both instructors. This class will include ballet barre for
warm-up.

Seniors
This class is an advanced class. Dancers range in age
from 12 to 14 years.
This group will train 3 hours per week. Dancers are exposed to a variety
of regional dances. This class will include ballet barre for
warm-up.

Ensemble
This class is for dancers 14 to 25+ years of age, who wish to
maintain a performance caliber of dance. This class will include ballet
barre for warm-up. Dancers are asked to commit 5 hour per
week to training. Dancers
learn a number of regional dances as well as the national dances of Ukraine; Pryvit & Hopak.

dancers who are looking to renew their interest in dance, students who use the
class for fitness and exercise and individuals of Ukrainian descent who are
looking to learn more about their culture.
